Ingredients
3 small blood oranges
4 oz. of your favorite whiskey, bourbon or rye (omit for a NA version)
- 1 Tbsp honey
-
½ tsp Rumi Spice Garam Masala spice blend
- Club soda, cold, for topping
- 2 sprigs fresh mint or rosemary
Directions
Cut 1 orange in half and slice one half into thin half moons. Juice the remaining oranges (this should yield about 1/2 cup of juice).
- Use 2 orange slices to garnish the rims of your cocktail glasses and fill with ice.
Put the remaining orange slices and a few mint or rosemary leaves in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler, gently crush the oranges and mint or rosemary until fragrant.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Add in 4 oz. (1/2 cup) of fresh blood orange juice, whiskey, honey, and Garam Masala spice. Shake well until chilled.
Strain your cocktail into your glasses. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary or mint. Serve immediately.
