2 - 2 ½ lb. medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 packet Rumi Spice Tandoori Masala Meal Starter
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
Fresh cilantro and lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, Tandoori Masala spice packet, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
Cover the bowl and let marinate for at least 10 minute, no more than 30 minutes. (If you marinate the shrimp too long it will begin to cook in the lemon juice).
Heat a large skillet over medium/medium-high heat. Once hot, add in the shrimp. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side. (Your shrimp are done when they turn pink. Make sure not to overcook the shrimp or it will get chewy).
Top with fresh cilantro and serve alongside lemon wedges.
