Chicken Tajine with Ras el Hanout

Ingredients

• 4 bone-in chicken breast, skin removed and cut in half

• 1 ½ tablespoons Rumi Spice Ras el Hanout spice blend

  
  

• 1/4 teaspoon Rumi saffron threads

• 2 teaspoons kosher salt

• 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

• ¼ cup olive oil

• 1 cinnamon stick

• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 

• 1 teaspoon turmeric
  

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 2 medium onions, 1 chopped, 1 sliced

• 1 can diced tomatoes, drained

• 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish

• 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

• 1/3 cup (50 grams) golden raisins

• 1 can of chickpeas

• 2 tablespoons honey
