Za'atar Fire Crackers
The recipe provides an herbaceous, Middle Eastern twist on traditional southern "Fire Crackers," typically made with ranch dressing seasoning. They make the perfect party appetizer or everyday snack (if you can keep them around long enough).

Ingredients
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
½ cup canola or grapeseed oil

3 Tbsp Rumi Spice Za’atar spice blend
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp garlic powder
8 oz. saltine crackers
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the oils, Za’atar spice, salt, and garlic powder.
Add in the crackers and gently toss to coat the crackers on all sides. Let sit at room temperature for 8-10 hours, allowing the crackers to absorb the flavors.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Spread the crackers in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet (or 2 baking sheets).
Transfer to the oven and bake for 15-17 minutes, until golden brown and crisp. Let cool completely.
Store an extra crackers in an airtight container, at room temperature, for up to a week.
