Garam Masala Apple Cobbler
Bring this traditional fall dessert up a notch with a pinch of our rich and warming Garam Masala spice blend. The perfect dessert for Thanksgiving or Christmas, or even breakfast the next morning. Bake it off in individual ramekins or in a full baking dish for the whole family to enjoy.

2 ½ lb. apples (apple 4-5 medium), peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup packed dark brown sugar

- 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the apples with all remaining filling ingredients until well coated. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, Garam Masala, cinnamon, and salt.
- Using your hands or a pastry cutter, cut in the cold butter, until the butter is well incorporated and the mixture resembles the texture of wet sand.
Add the apple filling to a greased baking dish (or individual ramekins). Spread in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apple layer.
Transfer the oven and bake for about 40-45, until the topping is golden brown and fruit juices begging seeping through the crust. Let cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream or saffron whipped cream, if desired
