Saffron Whipped Cream
Saffron whipped cream is the easiest way to elevate any simple dessert. The blend of rich floral saffron, dairy and sugar is a match made in heaven. Easily add that killer culinary combination to all your favorite sweets with this super simple recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup chilled heavy cream, divided

1 pinch of Rumi saffron threads, crushed
- 1 -2 Tbsp confectioners’ sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Directions
Add a few tablespoons of the heavy cream to a small bowl (keep the remaining heavy cream chilled in the refrigerator). Microwave on high until warm to the touch, about 30 seconds -1 minute. Add in the saffron and let steep for about 15 minutes, until golden in color and the cream has cooled completely.

- Mix the saffron cream with the remaining chilled heavy cream in a large mixing bowl. Add in the sugar and a pinch of kosher salt. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.
