The Traditional Mulling Spice saffron spice blend is exactly what you need to get ready for the cold weather. This complex spicy blend with notes of citrus and will warm your soul upon first scent.

It’s best used to spice hot apple cider, mulled wine, wassail, and other warm drinks during autumn or winter. Our personal favorite is our take on the Danish 'gløgg', which is a Nordic-style mulled wine made with a mixture of red wine and rum and mulled with raisins and almonds.
For 4 cups of cider/mulled beverage of choice, add 2 Tbsp. traditional mulling spice and heat until simmering (do not boil!). Keep hot for 10-20 minutes straining and serving.
For 1/2 gallon of cider/mulled beverage, use 4 Tbsp.
Pro tip: using a slow-cooker to prepare your mulled drink allows the aroma to be savored for hours.
