Our Cumin is grown wild along the foothills of the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan, the mountainous terroir adds an extra layer of sharp earthy and piney flavors to our black cumin spice. The intoxicating and aromatic Afghan Black Cumin will take you on a culinary journey from Indian dishes like malai kofta to Mexican favorites like chicken fajitas.

All of our spices and seasonings are salt-free and packaged by hand to ensure maximum quality and freshness. Packaged in glass - BPA free.

Committed to empowering Afghan women and bolstering the country’s economy, Rumi also reinvests profits back into the agricultural and manufacturing infrastructure for farmers.

ALTERNATIVE TO OPIUM

By connecting these Afghan farmers with the international market, we can supply a premium product to US consumers while also doubling to tripling their income. Saffron is also an economic alternative to growing poppy for opium - one of the primary sources of income for the Taliban.
