Saffron Cranberry Fizz


Celebrate with this fun cocktail recipe - Cranberry Fizz crafted with sweet and spicy saffron-ginger simple syrup.

Saffron-ginger simple syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 threads Rumi Saffron
  • ½ cup ginger, freshly chopped

Saffron Cranberry Fizz

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz saffron-ginger simple syrup
  • 1 can of club soda
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Cranberries and sprig of rosemary for garnish


Saffron-Ginger simple syrup

  1. Place 15 strands of saffron into a cup of water. Allow them to steep for 30-60 minutes (The longer it sits, the more intense the flavor).
  2. Remove saffron strands from water.
  3. Combine saffron water with a cup of sugar in a saucepan. Add chopped ginger and bring it to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool down. Use a fine strainer to remove chopped ginger from syrup

Saffron Cranberry Fizz

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker up with ice. Add vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and saffron-ginger simple syrup.
  2. Shake to mix and chill. Pour into glass and top with club soda.
  3. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprig.
