Baharat-Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Swap out Thanksgiving green beans with something a little more modern like roasted brussels sprouts seasoned in our Persian Gulf Baharat spice blend. Simply wash and chop each brussels sprout then toss in avocado oil with a sprinkle of Pink Himalayan salt and our Persian Gulf Baharat. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until brussels sprouts are soft, tender and golden brown in color. Our Persian Gulf Baharat adds a sweet and savory touch to this side dish.

Yogurt & Black Cumin Marinade for Turkey
Although sage and rosemary are go-to herbs for your Thanksgiving turkey, give your traditional turkey a delicious & unique twist by marinating it in this yogurt and black cumin mix.
Working a day ahead, mix together ingredients in a food processor until well combined:
- 5 Tbsp. Rumi Black Cumin
- 4 Tbsp. coriander seeds
- 2 Tbsp. cardamom pods
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 25 black peppercorns
- 20 cloves
- 8 tsp sea salt
- 1 large red onion (chopped)
- 14 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
- ½ cup whole milk yogurt
This recipe will make enough marinade for a 12 pound turkey.

Saffron Buttermilk Lemon Pie

Saffron Mashed Potatoes
Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without a heaping bowl of homemade mashed potatoes, so although this may be a traditional Thanksgiving dish you don’t want to skip this year, give it a modern twist by adding saffron.
- Simply bring 5 cups of chicken stock, 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, 1 clove garlic (minced) and 1 tsp of Rumi Spice saffron to a boil in a large pot.
- Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender (roughly 20 minutes). Drain potatoes and return to the pot. Reserve cooking stock for another use, if desired.
- Add 1/2 cup of milk, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt and black pepper to potatoes.
- Mash potatoes with a potato masher until smooth.
